BUY TICKETS NOW for the Annual Rubber Awards starts at 9pm on October 15th.  I would like to encourage folks to get there for the start. Everyone must be ready to walk on stage to sashay, curtsey, bow etc - for 10pm sharp. BUY TICKETS NOW.

It may sound early but it all takes time. You must register a name and say who you are wearing Libidex, home-made, can't remember! etc! will be waiting to take your details at the door. Ruby True will be at the door to take your details.

You will be given a number to take on stage and show the judges. Plus information, timings and directions.

Registration will CLOSE at 10pm and everybody must be waiting by the stage. If you are not there you won’t go on.

So that means you need to - get dressed, coats/bags need to be checked-in, toilet visit done, get yourself a drink if needed, chat to friends quickly, etc, AND be at the stage for 10pm or you're eliminated.

This is so we can get everyone on and off the stage by 10.20/30. You see, before everyone leaves the stage area I need to tell those assembled who the winners are. So stay in the area until you are told you can leave. Hopefully this will be done by 10.45. Fingers crossed.

The winners will then need to be at the stage for midnight. When they will be called on stage and presented with the trophy and prize.

Remember everything takes time, parking, finding a cab, processing your card details on the door, etc, etc. These things always run over too.  I just don’t want a night where everyone is waiting around for late comers. Please organise yourself and leave well early :)

If you are coming to watch the rubberists, then arrive early (from 9pm) to get a table and chairs in front of the stage. There are some real characters taking part. This is an opportunity for all those folks that never get asked to go on stage to ‘strut your stuff’!

Don’t forget there are loads of catagories! There’s a category for the BEST Hood. So even if you don’t win the BEST Full Rubber you could get the BEST Hood. There's even a BEST Accessory! DO NOT rule yourself out. Each judge is looking for something different.
