Love Lady Gaga
Just acquired a Lady Gaga tickets for May 2010. Sooooo excited. Fell in love with Lady Gaga from first hearing Let's Dance in 2009. Seen here with a gorgeous bone china cup and saucer. Below that, on the Jonathon Ross show wearing Atsuko Kudo dress and gloves.
Excited because her latest music video for Telephone featuring Beyonce is out. Lots of great clothes and it has a really quirky treatment. I love the reference to: "I told you she didn't have a dick"!
About a month ago I saw Simon from Atsuko Kudo designs (they're married) at their shop Showgirls, 66 Holloway Road N7. He told me Ako had just made Lady Gaga and Beyonce matching latex dresses. The day before Ako had trouble getting the matching cowboy hat just right - so she stayed up all night and designed a completely handmade version. See it below along with the matching dress on Beyonce (Gaga didn't wear hers). Skip to see the whole outfit 5:54 / 9:32 and 7:18 / 9:32 to see a close up for the hat. More of Atsuko's press and Blog.
The fashions of the 80's leave me cold unless they are on the cusp of the 70's. Just heard Sharleen Spiteri singing Xanadu. Originally by Olivia Newton-John.
Here some classic footage of Olivia with ABBA and Andy Gibb - they're jammin'. Here she's in a great jump-suit and another Magic tune. Some women age beautifully - she's was stunning then and even now at 62.
Stylist For Tanya Hyde Film
It's Tuesday March 2nd 2010 and I'm working as a stylist on another Tanya Hyde movie in sunny Clapham Common, London. Lots of latex, corsets, high heels, body stockings, hoods, suspension, rubber sheet, medical scenario etc. Typical fetish stylie!
Here is Jay Snake kicking back between takes with the gorgeous Ree Petra! Heels and a hood - a good look for Jay! The beautiful Claudia Rossi was the other model.
Day 3 of a four day shoot at an amazing location in Dalton. Here with Jay Snake, Mark MUA and Omar.
Roll On Summer
Can't wait for the Spring to start because then you know the Summer is on the horizon. I've got a black rubber-covered roof terrace that I like to sit on when the sun shines. Cocktails and strawberry flavoured hookah pipe with good friends. My sister took these last summer one lovely Sunday afternoon. The second shot is my dear friend Fareena. That's my rubber duck! Great shots by Bev.
Queen of Club - the first!
For my very first Blog I decided to make it about the Queen of Clubs - me! Well Catherine Howard (one of Henry VIII wives) was first. Actually the only reason I know this is because of Ishmael Skyes, the fount of all historical knowledge, has just informed me of the fact via email. Well it got me thinking - what did she look like on the playing card?
My cheeky friends gave me the name a few years ago. I can't think why!
Dolenta at Breathless Latex Clothing made me this latex ensemble including hood. I love the playing card on the back and the insignia on the sleeve. The lady is an artist. The lovely photos are by Dorabla Picerno.
More photos like this one on MySpace.
Love these playing card designs. It's nice to work with a theme. Adopt an image statement for yourself.
