Alice in Wonderland is everyone's favourite theme. On April 17th it's Club RUB's 13th Birthday - come celebrate with some 'Eat Me' birthday cake and take some 'Drink Me' vodka punch from a teacup.

The Lightbox, 6a South Lambeth Place, Vauxhall, London SW8 1SP, will be decorated with huge playing cards, pink flamingos and other Wonderland goodies.

Your outfit can be embellished with a pack of cards. Make a fan with them. You can buy the mini packs of playing cards from £1 shops and staple them all over an old jacket or onto a black or red bra. Staple them on to a black t-shirt a line of them across the middle. Get creative. Buy some red felt and cut into the heart shapes and do the same. Don't forget the 10/6 price tag in the hat. Top hats.

Both MALICE and Alice will be wandering around the club offering gift option of a naughty or a nice treats. However, all is not what it seems in Wonderland - be careful what you choose.

Join the Mad Hatter as he invites you to the tea party at his grand table. Dormouse, Malice, White Rabbit and March Hare will be there - watch out they're crazy too.

Akimbo Moonchild will be an oversized Alice stuck in the house. Find her on the stage with her arms and legs sticking out - flailing about!

There will be four Alice inspired performances from 12.30 am.

Great prizes and a trophy for the best costumes in the catagories of White, Rabbit, Alice, Mad Hatter and Queen of Hearts.

If you haven't seen the flyer/postcard for this event here is the bottom section with naughty Alice smoking, being given cash (who knows why) and the Queen of Hearts with nipple tassels on.
