Due to the venue manager making the biggest mistake ever - they have doubled booked The Lightbox for March 13th! The next Club RUB will NOT at The Lightbox unfortunately. The email I received Sunday February 28th:

The theme is Medical Emergency and will now take place at the Colosseum Club, 1 Nine Elms Lane, Vauxhall, London SW8 5NQ.

 

Thankfully another venue was found in less than 24 hours and with only two weeks to spare. I would really appreciate it if you could forward this to all of your friends. If you see the wrong address anywhere please go ahead and ask them to change it. Remember to say it's for March ONLY.

Venue for March 13th 2010 only: Club Colosseum 1 Nine Elms Lane, Vauxhall, London SW8 5NQ.

The entrance of the venue is through the carpark and NOT on the main road. There is an illuminated sign half way down the carpark to the club entrance. If your walking from The Lightbox enter the carpark from Wandsworth Road via the 'exit'. If driving enter the carpark from Nine Elms Lane. The carpark is available on a first come first served basis. Don't block anyone in or they will remove your car.

Club rules means you must deposit your coat/bag in the cloakroom upon arrival. There will be a small changing area in the cloakroom. Smoking will be out of the door you came in. Make sure you get a wrist band when entering the event. Do not leave the building without a wristband.

The dungeon will be slightly smaller in a curtained area. There will be a medical installation for the demos. Loads of sofas. Huge dancefloor. A stage for the performances.

As Club RUB is a fetish club then any burlesque performers should have a fetish angle. Unfortunately we are not set up to showcase bands. Pole dancers are particularly welcome as we have our own podium pole. Small fashion shows can be staged.

Dick Lacey, one of our fantastic models for this month February 2010 flyer, has his own range of Kilts called Skilt.

The Classic Skilt is a fusion of the kilt and traditional gentlemens' tailoring.
