Q. Do I have to be a member to get in?

A. No. Club RUB is not a membership club. Everyone is welcome. Same price for everyone.

Q. Do I have to arrive wearing fetish dress code or can I get changed?

A. You're welcome to change at the club. The cloakroom takes coats and bags at £2 each. There is also a changing screen is located near the cloakroom.

Q. Why is the dresscode so strict?

A. It's not a fetish club unless we all dress the same. It also makes a better atmosphere. You will be turned away at the door if you don't have fetish clothing. Once inside you must get changed. If you don't there is no refund and you will be asked to leave.

Q. Is there a smoking area?

A. Yes it's huge and you can take your drinks out. It's located out of a separate exit. In the winter fleecy robes are provided.

Q. Can I bring a camera?

A. No. Ask any of the Club RUB official photographers to take your photo. No camera phones.

Q. Are single men welcome?

A. Yes, absolutely. Club RUB does not discriminate. Everyone is very welcome. We get a good balance of women, men, old, young, single, couples, TV's, players, fetishists and rubber ravers.

Q. Having never been before - is it a 'hands-on' event?

A. No. Ask before you touch. Zero tolerance to any unwanted touching or attention.

Q. What short of music do you play?

A. The resident DJ's Irish Pete and Rob Parish play sexy house music.

Q. Do I need to buy a ticket in advance?

A. No but you will save a few pounds. There are ALWAYS tickets available on the door.

Q. Are there cabs outside the venue towards the end?

A. Yes. Should you leave early ask the doorman to organise one.

Q. What's a good time to arrive?

A. We open at 10.30 pm. So 11 pm to 11.30 pm would be my advise.

Q. Will the Resident Mistress give me a session in the dungeon?

A. No. The Resident Mistress - Countess Nina de Jagar is, however, happy to give you a taste of the whole dungeon experience. Tips and advise are given to those who are interested. Jams the Dungeon Manager will be on hand to stop touching & interference during play, advise people not to sit on the equipment & allow players the space needed. All players are responsible for their own safety. If you don't know what you're doing - don't do it!

Q. Can you have sex at Club RUB?

A. Absolutely NOT. Club RUB is a fetish club not a swingers club. Wait till you get home. You can be sexy, touchy, feely and generally naughty. However, NO penetration. No nudity.

Q. It will be my first time. Can someone show me around?

A. Yes. Simply ask the Dungeon Manager to polish you. Please do not bring spray polish as it makes the floors very dangerous.
